Location:Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge is located within the Conservation Area on the eastern rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, (2375m) offering spectacular views down into the crater floor and of the sunsets over the western horizon. It is about 215km from Arusha town.
Accommodation:The Lodge has a total of 96 spacious rooms with en suite bathroom and private lounge, including 90 doubles, each with two queen sized beds, separate dressing area, and a glass fronted verandah offering a private view of the Crater; and 6 single rooms, all with a queen sized beds and glass fronted sliding doors. Other amenities include hairdryers, mini-bar and safe deposit box.
Facilities & Services:The rondavel-shaped restaurant has a high roof with the ceiling resembling the inside of an umberella, and large glass windows to view the crater. Other facilities include laundry, a swimming pool, conference facilities, business centre, curio / gift and telephone at reception.
